Year 10 Extension

Our Year 10 Extension Program in Maths and Science follows the school curriculum closely while moving slightly ahead of it, so students reach each topic in class already familiar with the key concepts. The program is designed for students currently achieving 70% or above who want to deepen their understanding and prepare well for senior school.

Term 4: Exam revision, then a head start on ATAR

Term 4 of Year 10 matters more than most students realise. It is the final opportunity to secure strong Year 10 results, and the best time to prepare for Year 11, where ATAR begins. This term, the program covers both.

Weeks 1 to 4: Year 10 exam revision. Targeted revision of every topic on the Year 10 exams, together with practice papers and exam technique, so students sit their exams prepared and finish the year with results that keep their Year 11 course options open.

Week 5 onwards: Year 11 ATAR head start. Once exams are complete, students begin Year 11 content and build the study habits that ATAR demands. Students who begin Year 11 already familiar with the material are well placed to stay ahead throughout the year.
